MakeAppIcon Privacy Policy

This page is intended to be the public privacy policy URL for the MakeAppIcon browser extension.

1. Basic statement

MakeAppIcon does not operate a user account system and does not collect personal information through MakeAppIcon-operated servers.

2. Local processing

Standard icon upload, crop, preview, and export workflows are designed to run locally inside the browser extension environment.

3. No upload to MakeAppIcon-operated servers

Source images, exported icon files, and project content are not uploaded to MakeAppIcon-operated servers during the normal product workflow.

4. Optional third-party AI providers

If the user explicitly enables a third-party AI provider, the extension sends generation requests directly to that provider for the requested task. These requests do not pass through MakeAppIcon-operated servers.

5. Local storage

Settings required to keep the local workflow usable may be stored in the browser extension's local storage on the user's device.

如果用户主动启用第三方 AI provider，扩展会把生成请求直接发往该第三方服务商，用于完成用户发起的任务。这些请求不会经过 MakeAppIcon 自有服务器。

5. 本地存储

为了保持本地工作流可用，部分设置会保存在用户设备上的浏览器扩展本地存储中。
